Participants will be inspired by the many designs I've created in my journey from quilter to mixed-media fabric artist. I will bring many art quilts showing my journey and discuss the techniques used in each quilt. I will discuss how I create my designs by combining the skills I love most. I will give a handout to help each one to combine their talents to create their own style.

Color Play in Cloth is an engaging lecture for quilters and fiber artists who want to use color with more confidence. Through clear explanations and visual examples, you’ll learn the basics of color theory, including value, intensity, temperature, harmony, and contrast.
Discover how to choose and combine colors to create depth, movement, and strong designs. No prior experience needed, just a curiosity about color and a willingness to explore.
